Hello! My name is Simhanada, Sim for short.

I’m a Black Trans Non-Binary illustrator exploring themes of the metaphysical and spiritual, the Sacred and the Psyche, and all points in-between. I delve into sexuality and gender exploration, discovery of the Self through the lens of different living beings – human, animal, and beyond. I want to create and share content that pushes beyond the comfort of pristine secular and digs into the vast shades of what it is to be alive.

All this is just a fancy way of saying my themes will include – mortality, love, animal mysticism, dreams, and journeys of self-discovery that are the tales of human folly.

My work is influenced by experience, heritage, and the connections therein. Outside of my work I enjoy a wide variety of things. To name a few specifics I love nature, herbalism & kitchen witchery, gardening, zoology, art history, weird medical shows, psychological horror, Asian dramas, Thai BLs, and Kpop.
